Ivo Varzielas

Ivo enjoys exploring the 3 spatial dimensions and practices AcroYoga, Paragliding, and Trampolining.

He is a scientist who loves to learn and a teacher of everything, from the big to the small.

With experience and expertise in teaching AcroYoga, Ivo is mostly a base and loves to fly. He loves creating new AcroYoga machines and his creations number in the hundreds. He shares them with the world through his many videos, as @acrobativo on Instagram and YouTube.

Fittingly, Ivo appears flying in the most viewed Reel of @bestofacroyoga, and in a Reel of @acroyoga (AcroYoga.org)!

The four "Lashes" - a new type of movement in AcroYoga, more challenging than the four distinct "Whips" - are Ivo's creation. The first video to showcase the "Back Lash" appeared in collaboration with @acroyoga.

As an organizer, he created the events calendar and the Portuguese community website.

Ivo brought world-class AcroYoga instructors to Portugal for the first time: Jacob Brown and Debbie Collis in 2022, Lux and Jon Rea in 2023, and co-organized the Jason Nemer Workshop (also 2023).

Her experience teaching AcroYoga includes the AcroYoga Workshop at the 2022 Cabril Highline Meeting, Workshops at the 2023 and 2024 editions of AYGA Portugal, and the first edition of the North Acro Fest in 2024. She teaches regularly in the communities of Porto and Lisbon. Progress, refinement and safety characterize her AcroYoga instruction.
